Description
The VECTOR/Cn class machines are versatile, fast, simple and precise "point-to-point"
upper vertical drilling machines, with longitudinal introduction and translation of the panel,
which can be used both in-line and stand-alone.
Available in single or double drilling head versions, they are characterized by a vacuum
system that can be configured with a completely innovative "single" or "double" self-aligning
suction cup used for gripping and moving the panel to be processed along the X axis.
Properly programmed, the VECTOR/Cn performs: upper vertical drilling, horizontal drilling
on all four sides, linear grooves and upper interpolated milling.
The processes can be carried out on panels with a maximum size of potentially infinite
length, minimum of 300 mm.; maximum width up to 1200 mm. and minimum of 120 mm.;
maximum thickness up to 60 mm. and minimum of 12 mm.
On request, it can be configured to allow the insertion of hardware.
The machine has a monolithic structure in sheet metal and high-thickness electro-welded
tubular steel.
For programming and the man-machine interface, a PC in Windows operating environment
is used connected to the numerical control mod. ALBATROS-TPA which controls the 4 or 6
axes of the machine depending on the number of drilling heads that compose it.
For the programming of the machine by the operator, the Tpa-Ed32 software is used, a
powerful editor with "user-friendly" features based on the use of icons and graphic aids that
allow simple use and interpretation.
The operator, simply by acting from the automatic dashboard, will be able to recall from the
local memory archive or from a remote location both "individual programs" and "work lists",
or if required read manually or automatically by scanner any labels containing specific "bar
codes" so as to obtain a logical and sequential queuing of the part-programs to be
executed.
In the single drilling head version (VECTOR-SH/Cn), two "L" configured monoblocks are
used equipped with independent spindles with 32 mm spacing. An exclusive system allows
the selection, clamping and deselection of the spindles recalled from time to time in the
drilling process.
The 29 spindles are configured as follows:
No.18 vertical spindles arranged at a distance of 32 mm. along the Y-axis (Assembly)
No.11 vertical spindles arranged at a distance of 32 mm. along the X-axis (Fitting).
The following options are applicable:
Horizontal drilling heads with double output for panel head and tail drilling
Horizontal drilling heads with double output, for drilling on the longitudinal sides of
the panel
Independent high-frequency units for machining and grooving that can be combined
The sliding and working surface of the machine is made up as follows:
Machine inlet (loading) and exit (unloading) with support surfaces and sliding of the
panel formed by motorized rollers covered in PVC.
Work area, consisting of a support surface and sliding of the panel formed by idle
rollers covered in rectified PVC.
Particularly appreciated by our users is the zero point reading system in the X-coordinate of
the panel which is obtained with the use of a precision laser sensor, capable of
automatically performing the reading with respect to the head (default) or tail side of the
panel. This makes it possible in real time, depending on the structure of the part-program,
to "compensate" by adapting all or part of the machining operations to the dierencestolerances
detected or more simply, if desired to interrupt the machining of the panel being
processed as it is considered non-compliant.
The machine is equipped with a perimeter safety protection made of wire mesh equipped
with swing gates with micro safety switches (CE).
